Hostels in Central London

The London School of Economics offers excellent accommodation throughout the summer season in its Student Halls of Residence. They are well located for students studying at Stanton School Queensway. For those with access to the Internet the web sites give detailed information on all their residences. Please see addresses below.

All the Hostels of the London School of Economics are open from the 2nd/3rd week of June to 3rd week of September. Check each hostel for exact dates. Most are also open over the Easter period.

The cost depends on the time and kind of accommodation but they range from approx. £18 to £26 per night for Standard and Budget Price Rooms.

    Bankside is situated on the South Bank, near The Globe Theatre and opposite the new Tate Gallery of Modern Art. The Tower of London, Tower Bridge and St. Paul's are within a 10-minute journey.

    City University also offer accommodation facilities. Their Halls of Residence are suitable for those looking for centrally located, reasonably priced accommodation.

    All the halls are situated close to the West End. They offer accommodation for individuals, groups and families. Booking forms and further information can be found on their web site.

 

Hostels all year

There are many private hostels in London. Here is a selection. These are open all year. Prices are from £12 to £17 per night although weekly rates are cheaper.

These are a little more expensive. Expect to pay from £25 to £50 per night, depending on hotel and time of year.
